A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read

This book was recommended by my friend Yvana since we were in high school. It was the first book that we had a conversation on. She urged me to read it. I want to read it, truly, but I could never find the book in any bookstores at that time until I, unfortunately, forgot about it until now.

If I could not find it in any bookstores might as well purchase the ebook version.

A book that’s been on your TBR forever and yet you still haven’t picked it up

In all of John Green’s book, this is only the TBR I could not read, yet. My friends who had read this book had recommended me this and told me to read it but Alas! I really could not. I don’t know why.

A book in a series you’ve started,  but haven’t gotten around to finishing yet

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Micheal Scott. The reason why I couldn’t finish this series is that I COULDN’T FIND THE PHYSICAL COPY IN ANY BOOKS STORES!!!! I really want to complete this series by buying the actual physical copy.

P.S. LOOK AT THE COVERS AIN’T THEY LOOK FANTASTIC???!!!

A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but never actually read

I only heard this beautiful classic a year ago when Anya-Taylor Joy played as Emma in a 2020 film adaptation of Emma directed by Autumn de Wilde. This film is straight out of a painting. This film is truly a masterpiece. Every scene is such a vision. The movie made me want to read this book as well all Jane Austen’s books. Looking forward to reading it all.

This is my favorite scene!!!

A popular book that it seems everyone but you has read

Everyone. I mean every one of my friends had read this series. (ALSO THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS SERIES! Oh my…) I must admit I wasn’t into greek mythology thingy back then BUT thanks to Tumblr I am now and my few of my friends keeping me recommend this book. I’m planning to buy PJO series. Hope to buy it sooner.

Also congratulations to fans of this series. There’s a confirmation that this will be a full series under Disney! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

A book that inspired a film/TV adaptation that you really love, but you just haven’t read it yet

Oh, I truly love this movie. It’s so heartwarming and incredibly inspiring. Choose to be kind.

I also love this film. A perfect film about coming of age. This movie is so scenic. Such a vision.

A book you see all over Instagram but haven’t picked up yet

I am not on instagram much lately. Not even a bookstagrammer. But lately there are two books that I always see.

I TAG THEE

I tag everyone everyone who would ever see this tag and I will leave it up to you if you would do it or not. (Let’s face it. I don’t know most of the people here.)

journal, Writings

Here’s why I don’t have much posts in my blogs.

I’m one of the people who had a hard time expressing feelings and thoughts, so I most-likely keep it to myself. But then, it came to me that I must express myself in ways where I could put out my thought and not keep it to myself it must be out there in the world, communicate. I had this blog for like 3 years and yet I couldn’t find time and words to post. I rarely had time to post something that came up to my mind. I’m struggling. I am. I even couldn’t write in my diary!

I hope that I would frequently write and post here. It could be about book review or writing like a journal or just a simple thought. I would like also to engage in any discussions with you. I really love this community that’s why I am trying hard to be here, with you all. I’m looking forward to the future of this blog.
